Misaki HOSHI

Hello everyone, my name is Misaki (she/her). I am an exchange student from Japan, raised in Singapore. Having met many people from diverse cultural backgrounds in Singapore, I have loved discovering more about cultural practices I had never heard of before. Since I am a foodie, I especially love learning more about local and traditional dishes. I also enjoy sharing about Japanese culture because there is a lot more to it than what you see in the media. Feel free to ask and share when you see me around campus.

As a Spark Global Leader, I hope to host an activity where people can come together to share their cultures and have an opportunity to appreciate the diverse cultural representation we have here at HKUST. I wish for Spark Global events to be a platform for all students to connect with new people and make new discoveries!
