Kyoto University are thrilled to announce that the 2026 Kyoto University Amgen Scholars Program, a summer undergraduate research initiative in life sciences and biotechnology supported by the Amgen Foundation. This eight-week program will run from 5 June to 6 August, 2026.

Applications are now open and will close at 3:00 PM (JST, UTC+9) on 1 February, 2026.

Program Highlights:

• Approximately 10 places available for undergraduate students from colleges and universities across Asia
• Comprehensive financial support, including a round-trip flight, accommodation, and a scholarship
• Hands-on laboratory experience to develop research skills and knowledge
• Opportunities to network with fellow students and professionals as well as gain valuable insight into graduate student life
• Additional activities, such as workshops, cultural events, and a three-day Asia Symposium in Tokyo
