Matthew CHONG

Hey everyone! I'm Matthew, a first-year student in the School of Business & Management. I was born and raised in Hong Kong but spent my high school years in Switzerland and Canada. I love travelling (just went on my first solo backpacking trip this year!) and exploring new places with my camera.

Through immersing myself in diverse communities, I developed an interest in understanding cultural differences and how our ways of life shape our worldviews. That's why I'm passionate about joining Spark Global to continue learning from people of all backgrounds. Having been both an exchange and international student, I can deeply relate to the challenges of studying abroad. So, as a Spark Global leader, I'm not just excited to show you around Hong Kong, but also dedicated to helping everyone feel included at university and find a sense of belonging in a home away from home.
