Martine CORPUS

What's up! My name is Martine and I’m a first-year Management student at the School of Business and Management. I was born and raised in the Philippines, but I’m super excited to now call HKUST and Hong Kong my second home! In my free time, I’m usually baking cookies, jamming on my guitar, or listening to my favorite musicals. Feel free to approach me for all things music: playing guitar, singing, chatting about favorite genres (although I can never commit to a favorite song). Aside from music, I believe that food and good conversations are the best ways to bring people together so I’m always on the hunt for sweet-treat lovers or food recommendations in Hong Kong!

Through Spark Global, I hope to help make campus feel like a warm, supportive, and inclusive space for everyone by making sure every voice is heard. I want to step out of my comfort zone, celebrate our diverse cultural backgrounds, and ensure every student finds their place here at HKUST. Plus, I’m really looking forward to collaborating on fun events and making lifelong friends along the way!
