Angus LAM

Hey everyone! My name is Angus and I'm a first year student studying Information Systems. I’m from Hong Kong, and I’m someone who’s always curious about trying new things, meeting new people, and putting myself in situations where I can learn something new.

I joined the Spark Global team because I wanted to meet people from different backgrounds, and hopefully help create some memorable experiences for other students as well. I’ve always believed that university is about much more than just academics, so I’m really looking forward to being involved in events, making new connections, and trying things that I probably wouldn’t have done on my own.

Outside of university, I do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which has taught me how to stay calm when things get stressful — and also that there’s always someone better than you. I’m also pretty interested in business, psychology and fashion, and I tend to get really into random projects whenever something catches my interest. I also like exploring Hong Kong, trying out different food spots, and hanging out with friends.
