The COVID-19 pandemic continues to pose serious health risks for global communities. International travel remains restrictive and much of university teaching around the world continues the online arrangement. We do not yet see the conditions that assure us meaningful student experiences and student health and safety can be provided for. As students preparing for study abroad make arrangements many months in advance, in the best interest of students, the University announces the decision at this time. Affected HKUST students should contact their program organizing units for follow-up.
