Antony JOY

Hello everyone, I'm Antony (he/him), a Year 2 Aerospace Engineering student. I was born in India and spent my formative years in Botswana, which gave me a unique perspective on life. I'm passionate about adventure-related activities and love the thrill of trying something new, whether it's hiking, exploring new places, or engaging in outdoor sports. I also enjoy playing 5-a-side football—it’s a great way to stay active and connect with others.

When I'm not out and about, you can usually find me watching movies or TV shows. I have a soft spot for Formula 1 racing, and I'm always keeping up with the latest in the sport. My love for engineering extends beyond my studies; I spend a lot of my free time watching engineering videos on YouTube to satisfy my curiosity and learn about new innovations.

I joined Spark Global because I believe in the importance of creating a vibrant, inclusive community at HKUST. It's exciting to meet people from different backgrounds and learn about their cultures and experiences. My goal is to help organize fun and meaningful events that not only bring people together but also offer a balanced university life for everyone. Whether you're new to campus or a current student, I'm eager to connect and make our time at HKUST memorable.
