Ruth KPALMA

Yooooo everyone. I’m Ruth, a Year 1 student currently studying in Sustainable and Green Finance. I’m actually a ‘Blasian’, half-Korean and half-Togolese. But I was born in Mainland China and lived there for 12 years, so I know plenty of Chinese traditional culture as well.  As I was embraced by different cultures, I got a chance to try different dishes when I was little. Also, I’m a big foodie. In my downtime, I love to explore innovating new dishes which combine different dishes from different countries. I joined Spark Global because I have experience with how difficult it would be when we move to a completely new environment. Different languages and cultures may make you feel like an outsider.
