As a local student, I am always curious about places outside Hong Kong and the world. Joining Spark Global has given me the chance to broaden my horizons in an unexpected way.

The pandemic has brought a lot of challenges for overseas travel and studying abroad. Thanks to Spark Global, I have the opportunities to connect with international students from all parts of the world. Having conversations with them in the events organized by our team, I realized the travel videos I watched only captures a small part of the world. These fascinating experiences have inspired me to explore the world more and give us a more holistic perspective of the world. We can build a better world through learning from one another.

I have never regretted my decision in joining Spark Global. It has given me valuable chances to engage with people around the globe and create opportunities for HKUST students to interact with other international students.

As a member of Spark Global, I strive to spark the awareness of global experiences among the HKUST community and bring students from different background together to create a more diverse community.
