Aru BAYADILOVA

Hey! I am Aru (she/her), an international student, originally from the land of the great steppes, Kazakhstan. I am a first-year student majoring in Information Systems (BBA). Meeting people from different backgrounds, connecting with them, and experiencing the diversity of cultures through friendship energize my inner world. This was one of the reasons for choosing Hong Kong for my bachelor's degree and becoming a Spark Global Leader. 

Kazakh hearts are like the steppes—wide, kind, and generous. I appreciate and respect the uniqueness of each culture because my homeland showed me how representatives of 124 nationalities can live happily in one. Therefore, I am ready for new experiences, friendships, and discoveries. As a Spark Global Leader, I wish to enhance cross-cultural communication among HKUST students and beyond.
