Boya SHI

Hi! I am Boya (she/her), a second-year student majoring in Finance. I was born and raised in Mainland China and pursued A-level in high school before joining HKUST. Living and studying in Hong Kong has given me a unique perspective on the fusion of different cultures and the beauty of inclusivity. One of my life passions is to travel and connect with people from various backgrounds. Also, I’m a music lover. I like listening to all kinds of music and especially have a special bond with Chinese traditional opera.

After completing the summer exchange program in Vienna, I questioned myself “Why not immerse myself in cultural exchange right on my own campus?” So here I am: as a Spark Global Leader, I hope to be actively involved in event management, and gain hands-on experience in organizing and assisting both on-campus and off-campus activities. I’m looking forward to collaborating with creative and vibrant peers, and I’m excited to make new friends along the way!
