Darsh LALWANI

Hi, this is Darsh (he/him). I am excited to participate in walks, hikes and other activities that allow HKUST students from various backgrounds to explore Hong Kong and connect with fellow students. Most importantly, I am excited to share my innovative ideas to create events that foster connections, break barriers and facilitate meaningful interactions among students.

Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed travelling. I believe that traveling broadens my horizons, fosters empathy, and promotes cross-cultural understanding. Immersing myself in new experiences and engaging with diverse communities has taught me the value of embracing differences and appreciating the uniqueness of each individual. Furthemore, I am also very passionate about photography. I find joy in capturing moments and telling stories through images. Whether it's exploring the beauty of nature or documenting the vibrant energy of city life, photography allows me to express my creativity and share my perspective with others. I believe that visual arts have the power to inspire and evoke emotions, and I enjoy using my skills to communicate messages of positivity and inclusivity.

I'm also the President of HKUST South Asian Student Society and regularly contribute as a Business Student Ambassador.
