Murphy CHAN

Hi, everyone! This is Murphy (she/her), an adventurous local student. I love exploring new things with friends, like skateboarding along the harbor to enjoy the amazing night view and going for overnight camping to catch the sunrise. I’m recently trying to learn some skateboarding tricks, even though I'm always afraid to fall. Catch me if you have any tips for me! I also enjoy classical music, gardening and arts; you can also find me in concert halls, flower markets and museums. Let me know if you want to play a duet!

Chatting with people from different cultural backgrounds and listening to their stories always inspire me a lot. As a Spark Global Leader, I hope to bring a comfortable environment where everyone feels free to express their thoughts and feelings. For me, HKUST is place where I push myself out of my comfort zone with the help of friends I met here. I hope to support and encourage anyone who wants to make a change. See you all soon!
