Nayab NASEER

Hello everyone! This is Nayab (she/ her). Sending you a warm salam, or As-Salaam-Alaikum in Arabic. I am a sophomore student majoring in Biotechnology and Business. Born and raised in Hong Kong as a third-generation Pakistani, I have completed my education in local schools. Seeing how it is on the ground, I really wouldn't want Cantonese to be a dividing force but a binding one. I have seen a fair share of both the local and the international cultures and I am truly grateful for this experience, as it made me a global citizen.

As a Spark Global Leader, I want to see that spark in myself, and the passion and the motivation to be much more vivid. I have always enjoyed working in groups and interacting with new students all my life. There isn’t any fault of a new student or an exchange student if they feel intimidated in a foreign environment, and I want to make sure that alienated feeling becomes a wholesome one by the very end of the journey. I also want to be an ambassador for Hong Kong, which truly is an international city and I am the walking proof!
