Sawini SINGH

Hey everyone I’m Sawini (she/her). I am a first year Engineering student. I was born and raised in Hong Kong and understand a bit of Cantonese but I’m not able to speak it. During my free time, you will mostly see me reading. I love books from all over the world, spanning different genres. If you're a book nerd, or someone who loves ranting about their favorite books and characters, I’m sure I’ll always have time to listen (despite the numerous projects and assignments I’m supposed to finish). I’m always looking for book recommendations!

I believe university life should be fun yet challenging. I know about the reputation of our university and I joined Spark Global to remind everyone that it doesn’t have to be a stressful student life at HKUST.  As my new responsibilities as a Spark Global Leader, I hope to help you with enjoying your life here.
