Hey, everyone, I’m Vadim (he/him)! I studied at an international school in Thailand, where I had the opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. This experience has been truly invaluable to me, and taught me the importance of embracing different perspectives and finding unconventional solutions to problems. I strongly believe that building relationships with people who are different from us not only allows us to learn about them but also helps us better understand ourselves.

As a Spark Global Leader, I've set two clear goals for myself: expanding my social network and bringing students together. I've noticed that students can sometimes become so focused on their studies that they overlook the significance of social connections. In my role, I will help organize events that promote cultural diversity at HKUST and bring students together to foster a unified community. By doing so, I hope to create an environment where students feel connected and supported.
