Programs
We provide different types of Study Abroad Opportunities:
Regular Term
Exchange students remain enrolled at HKUST and are also enrolled into a host institution overseas for either one semester or one year. They continue to pay their tuition fees to HKUST and do not pay any tuition fees to their host university. Programs include: Term-time exchange program, term-time study abroad opportunities and term-time virtual study abroad.
Summer Term
Students can participate in a diverse range of programs offered by institutions around the world during summer term, ranging from two to ten weeks. Programs include: Summer exchange / partnership programs, summer mainland programs, summer virtual study abroad and other summer study abroad opportunities.
Winter Term
Students can participate in winter programs offered by HKUST’s partner institutions and other universities. Students can directly apply for these programs.
