Hey guys! I'm Tim (he/him), a year 2 Computer Science student. I spent my first 10 years in Korea before moving to Nanjing, China. Being fluent in three languages—Korean, Chinese, and English—has been a natural result of my upbringing. Attending an international school has drastically shaped who I am as a person. Growing up in such a diverse environment has made me more culturally knowledgeable and open-minded, and I have developed a deep passion for learning about different cultures. During my spare time, I love exploring the outdoors through activities like hiking and camping.

Hey everyone! My name is Shreyans (he/him), and I'm an international student from India. I'm currently studying in the School of Business, but I haven't declared my major yet. I've lived in India my whole life, and I've had the pleasure of meeting people from all sorts of cultures and religions. India is really diverse, and I've always enjoyed learning new things from the people I meet. I'm really excited to be in Hong Kong for the first time, and I'm looking forward to meeting and working with people from all backgrounds.

Hey everyone I’m Sawini (she/her). I am a first year Engineering student. I was born and raised in Hong Kong and understand a bit of Cantonese but I’m not able to speak it. During my free time, you will mostly see me reading. I love books from all over the world, spanning different genres. If you're a book nerd, or someone who loves ranting about their favorite books and characters, I’m sure I’ll always have time to listen (despite the numerous projects and assignments I’m supposed to finish). I’m always looking for book recommendations!

I am Sacha (he/him), a French coming to Hong Kong as an exchange student majoring in Chemistry. I really love learning about new interests from passionate people. From photography and music to video games and fashion, I'm basically interested in whatever my friends are eager to talk about! I hope that coming to Hong Kong will bring me a different way to see people around me, and an occasion to learn about new cultures and languages.

Although my name is pronounced as "Sad-Man" (he/him), I swear I'm not the melancholic guy my name claims to be! Born and raised in Bangladesh, I've always had a keen interest in international cultures and lifestyles. I love traveling to new places, whether they be local or international, try different foods, meet new people, and learn about their traditions and culture. In my spare time, I like to watch movies and TV series, with my favorite genre being horror ;). Other times I like to watch sports, go hiking around Hong Kong, or just hit the gym with my friends.

I joined Spark Global to make the most of my first year and meet as many people as I can! I also want to organize more art events on-campus.

As a final-year student and a Spark Global Leader, I want to push myself to make more new friends from different cultures and step out of my comfort zone more often. The world is bigger than we think and it’s never too late to start exploring.
